Port 3: Rome (Part 1)

The Colosseum was the first part of our 9 1/2 hour tour in Rome. All the other pictures are shot from inside our tour bus because we didn’t have time to stop and look. The bus was a great way to see a lot more than we could have had we been on foot (so I wasn’t complaining). That being said, I definitely wouldn’t mind going back and stopping! I think for me, what was most fascinating, was being in a place I’ve studied for about three years (thank you Xenia High School Latin). The buildings, the art, and the history really lived up to my expectations! Fun fact, our tour guides name was Francesca, a very lively individual, who was extremely knowledgable. All in all it was a great day, super hot, but great (so glad we did most of the outside stuff in the morning)! 🙂
